Singing for Obama on CNN

It’s time to say enough. Over the past several weeks I have linked to various videos showing indoctrination of our children by left wing elements of our education system. I have also written extensively about the bias of the press. For awhile, the press feigned independence. But they have stopped that now. The pro-Democrat/anti-Republican stance of NBC, CBS, CNN, and to a lesser degree ABC is now generally accepted. It shows in their abysmal ratings, and in the stellar ratings of Fox News.

But just in case you have any doubt left, watch this:

It shows young students from the Ron Clark Academy singing the praises of health care and Obama on CNN. They can’t sing about Jesus. They can’t say Merry Christmas. But they can sing praises to Obama, and on national television. It is sick. It is propaganda. It is dangerous. It needs to stop. Obama is NOT the Messiah. He is the President of the United States. The man is servant of the people. Not the other way around. One should always respect the office holder, but the honor is to country and to our institutions.

These kinds of tactics are the things dictatorships are made of. The Hitler Youth, the Young Communist League, the God knows what in North Korea singing to the great leader…we have no place for that here in the United States. The cult of personality is an aberration of our culture and our constitution.

Of course, looking at Obama’s campaign literature…the stylized “O” making it look like a national insignia, the poster of him looking upward like some sort of god, the mythic backdrops to his campaign speeches, why should we be surprised. In the middle of last summer he tried to politicize the National Endowment for the Arts when he tied monetary awards to “art” promoting his political agenda.

He certainly has a high opinion of himself. In the speech he and his wife delivered in Copenhagen, they spoke a total of 89 sentences, and used the words “I” and “me” 79 times. He may be able to get away with that with his adoring press in the United States, but the Europeans are more narcissistic than him, and don’t care. They told him so in no uncertain terms. Of course, that doesn't apply to the Nobel Peace Prize folks, who gave him a medal and a million dollars. But then again, it's not the Olympics!!!!

Of all the things I write about, the cult of personality is the most disturbing to me personally. The continual proliferation of this type of activity should raise the alarm bells for all Americans. It is the precursor to totalitarianism. It subverts the culture. It promotes the teaching of revisionist history school not based on facts, but on current social politically correct thought. This is dangerous stuff.

Here’s an idea. Next time, Ron Clark Academy, how’s ‘bout teaching the kids to sing God Bless America. Like that is going to happen. Barack Hussein Obama…Mmm-Mmm-Mmmm.
